"Vasi E Candelabri, Engraving. For His Excellency Mr. Hamilton Minister Plenipotentiary of his Majesty George III of Great Britain or Ferdinand IV, King of Sicily. Left Illustration; Of the plant which has the same grandness as the handle created architecturally by fluting. Right; Demonstrates the plant's leaf surface which adorns the body of the vase. Drawing in perspective of an ancient marble vase in the grand style, recovered in the year 1770, excavated from the lake called Pantanello, ancient site situated by the surrounding wall of the Villa Adriana about 2 miles from Tivoli. This invention demonstrates the perfection and the understanding of art at the time of Hadrian. The modern pedestal, with its law inscription, is also of marble, indicating that the person has taken care in the restoration of this antique movement. Signed".
